David Warner, playing his 112th and final Test, faced a thrilling final over in the closing stages and overcame a scare to finish with six runs in Australia's 6-0 reply.

Australian skipper Pat Cummins took five for 61 for his third consecutive five-wicket haul in the series.

A day that started with joy for Australia ended in frustration as Pakistan, who got off to a terrible start, wagged their tails wildly to save their team.

Mohammad Rizwan and Agha Salman sparked the comeback with a spirited 94 runs that repelled Australia's attack.

Rizwan, who did not play in the first Test, hit two sixes and 10 fours off 103 balls, but fell into Cummins' leg trap.
